When last we left off with the pesky gay age gap, things weren’t looking good.
“Who’s John Waters?” asked the babygay. “What’s Rosemary’s Baby?”
It was enough to spark an argument in this fictitious (and hilarious) intergenerational couple.

But as Sam Pancake realizes in part two, entering the world at different blips on the time spectrum is no reason to squabble. Actually, it’s the perfect educational opportunity for wee Brian Jordan Alvarez.
And where better to start than Paris Is Burning?
See how it goes below:

Young gay men have NO IDEA how hard men in their 40s and up have fought for them to walk around holding hands, kissing their partner in public, or even letting them be free to be comfortable wearing whatever they want. Its a shame that these youngsters have no respect or admiration for men who fought for them.

Congrats to the production on yet another funny video

Nobody will make you feel older than a young gay man……I had some idiot say,”Get off the internet, you are too old for it’.I have also been called,”Geriatric”….I am 50.
Justin J Villeneuve
Haha.

Here’s a better question… Why would a sexy guy like that even WANT to date/screw a 21 year old who is so clueless?
Josh447
Too funny. I know of Madonna but that’s it. And I’m definitely not in my 20s, but never been a fan. Vogue and Paris Burning via Madonna? Clueless and couldn’t care less. Though I thought her bronze colored cone head bra was humorously interesting.
Glücklich
I’ve never seen “Paris is Burning”.
And I realize the video is satire and Brian Alvarez doesn’t really sound like that but I HATE THAT YOUNG GUY’S CHARACTER! Since when has inexperience and/or gay youth equaled imitating Kourtney Kartrashian? I wouldn’t even want that kid as a waiter.

Madonna: The new (old) Donna.

my best friend is 26 yrs old. i’m 55. we get a long great…he teaches me teck and i teach him about life. tho i would never date anyone that young..we just clicked as friends…..

Hell, I’m 39 and I think its stupid to expect 20 year olds to know anything that happened pre 2000. The only reason older gays like us have a common point of reference to gay culture is that we had gay bars, gay cinemas, gay bookstores and alternative video rental stores to get this kind of information from.
These gay kids these days don’t have those things, so they obtain all of their knowledge from mass pop culture and what corporations feed them over the internet.
MarionPaige
Soooo, I’m thinking a Halloween / Woodchipper Party where you can get rid of your over 30 fossilized gay lover and your unwanted adopted / surrogate children would like not be cool? http://www.bitchless.net/index.php?showtopic=87917&hl=halloween

That gay age gap series is hilarious because its so true. You have to teach the gaybies our history. I loved how his therapist pointed out his part in dating someone so young. Hope part three is coming .
“I can only things on my phone” lol.

Can you pay attention to the TV?!

I can only watch things on my phone lol

@SpunkyBunks: Sadly I think you’re right. Gay culture is being absorbed into pop culture. We’re losing our outsider status and the rebel mindset that went with it. I’m not sure how I feel about it. I liked being a rebel. —> 47 yo Queer man.

My mother said it best, 20 doesn’t understand 30, 30 doesn
John Malin
sorry…doesn’t understand 40, etc. and vice versa. It’s not a question of age gaps, but of experiencing different things. I can remember a household without television, until my brother kept disappearing and my father broke down and bought one! That’s life!!!

Age should only be a number

What if I’m a middle-aged, overweight, out of shape guy with glasses and bad teeth. Do you still think I have a chance with younger, fit handsome men?
Richard Holaday
Pfft! I don’t have the patience for teaching .. let alone any man under 35.

The kid had a small speaking role in last week’s episode of “Life In Pieces,” playing a waiter — almost didn’t recognize him! Glad to see he’s actually getting paid gigs instead of just doing personal projects.

My boyfriend is 25 years younger than me and our relationship is nothing like that. I’ve always liked music and movies from before my time so I’m used to people my own age not knowing about that stuff. It’s unimportant. What matters is the blend of personalities. I love my boyfriend and he loves me.

@Jim McHardy:
“Age should only be a number.”
Yes, and I should be young, muscular, and fabulously wealthy, but reality is otherwise. “Should” has very little relationship to “is.”

One day gay men will learn to look beyond the surface. When that day comes we will all be so much HAPPIER!!!
Ogre Magi
@surreal33: The fact is , sometimes there is nothing beneath the surface

I just wished I had the opportunity to meet with an older gay when I was 20. The listen and balancing the hormones.. We must teach each other with respect patience and guidance
to enjoy the fruits of a healthy lifestyle.
thank you for reading

Gods, old gay dudes really cannot accept that they are old can they? Now only the things relevant for their generation matter…and the young ones are wrong in the things that are popular and they like…Gays dudes over 35; accept the fact that you are now walking fossils and accept that your generations interests are no longer relevant and don’t really matter anymore…and stop shaming younger gay guys for living their lives!!!!
cupidstunt
I’m 16 and I’m very educated and well versed in gay history. This is such a gross generalization, not all young people are stupid.
Fern8783
hhaha this is hilarious and so true.
DDstar1me
That kids facials lol….it’s everything in this little skit. lmao I’m on the floor. lol
JerseyMike
Each generation think they had it harder that the previous generation.. maybe we did but each generation has its struggles. I would not want to be a teen or a 20 yr old in this generation for nothing.. They may have more gay freedoms than we did but they sure as hell have it harder than we did with peer pressure..
JerseyMike
@Taskebab: Live your life.. just hope you live to 35..
EddieP904
I am 48, my husband is 29. We have been together for 9 years, and I am shocked at the stuff he knows. He is very well educated in the ways of the gays from ages back….all the way to the 60s lol. That is very impressive for a person of 29 years of age.
Bisexual-Transwoman
@Jamey Arnold: I doubt young gay men care about the past at all.
@EddieP904: As if LGBT history is something actually worth knowing instead of the history of everyone and everything.

One of my all-time favorite TV quotes is from a Law & Order episode where an older detective and a younger one come across the after-mass of a rave. The older cop is head-shaking bewilderment and disgust and the younger cop tells him: “The party didn’t stop just because you got old.” Young people are too busy making their own history to worry about ours. Just like we were.
