      let me get this straight. this guy is gay for pay so i assume that means he is heterosexual, right. yet he is fucking men and now taking dick up his ass and he is still straight? but only for money? i’m really surprised at queerty for supporting guys like this. guys who are great looking, fun to look at but how do they support or add to the gay community? models, swim suits, underwear guys, rugby players, footballers all who say they are straight but get press time on here because they are what? nice to look at? sounds a bit to me like paddy is a little confused about what being gay is or at least part of it is. having sex with men. with or without money, if you have sex with men and you are a man you are gay. if you have a prostate you are a man

      I totally get where you are coming from, but saying that having sex with men defines ones sexuality is just false. I could never have sex again, but I’ll still be gay.

      I can’t speak for O’Brian, but I’d guess that he is emotionally and physically drawn to women, so he identifies as straight, but has no problem sleeping with men even if it doesn’t really do anything for him. Or maybe he likes it, he’s still allowed to identify his sexuality how he wishes.

      I think he’s super hot, but i don’t watch his videos. I find them a tad bit dull. Perfect bodies aren’t enough for me. A porn scene should capture the passion and lust between the performers; which i never quite get from Paddy’s scenes or a lot of scenes from models who do identify as gay. I still love looking at him though.

      ps. love his accent. people say it’s a turn off, but not for me.

      I will never praise heterosexuals for pretending to be gay, but It seems that a large portion of gay men will never let go the fantasy of men who identify as straight having sex with them.
      I would like to believe that ten years from now our community will think more of ourselves and appreciate and celebrate the multitude of amazing gay men in the world.

      My general rule is that the first time you are penetrated (even for pay) you are questioning. The second time you may be bi. The third time and beyond you are gay – no matter how you deny it. When almost 50% of gay couples are not doing anal sex at all a “straight” man repeatedly getting porked needs to realize that he does like sausage.

      I see the gay liberation movement I’ve been part of since the 1970’s as a subset of a broader sexual liberation movement that seeks to break down rigid stereotyping and labeling of people’s romantic, sexual, sensual, and gender conceptions of themselves and others. A man like Paddy O’Brian self-identifying as straight while unabashedly choosing to engage in man-on-man sexual performance for a pay [or his own enjoyment] is a sign of welcome progress. Comments that appear to insist that one’s behavior dictates their role/label according to arbitrary social conventions show there is still a lot of work to do. The underlying point of gay pride should be that adults get to define and describe themselves in ways that feel right to them and interact with other consenting adults in ways that gratify them without limiting or demeaning social intervention except where legitimate harm to others can be shown. I have enjoyed Paddy’s gay porn performances and look forward to more of them. I think he is beautiful and like looking at the pictures of him. I enjoy the sound of his voice and his accent delights me. I’m glad he chooses to share himself with me in ways I can relate to and enjoy. If he has any underlying issues with what he’s doing, I’m sure he’ll sort them out in his own time and his own way.
