19-year-old Branden Staples and an unnamed 16-year-old were also apprehended.
The three youngsters have been charged with assault with a deadly weapon and committing a hate crime.

As NewNowNext reports, paintball guns are more than kooky fun for obnoxious high schoolers. They can fire up to 190 miles per hour and impact could cause blindness, punctured organs, brain swelling, and even fatalities.
One club-goer, Robert Greenlee, said, “I’m just unhappy and angry with the situation. I never really felt unsafe, especially here—it’s kind of a home atmosphere. It’s always been safe and people here know their surroundings.”
One patron, a 26-year-old woman, was struck in the arm, and a 27-year-old man was shot in the back.
This was the second incident: the front of the Paradise had also been pelted with paint pellets a month earlier.

The problem probably stems from what they are learning at home, or not learning. Where were their parents when they were running around the neighbourhood at night terrorising people at that age.

@Captain Obvious: If they were black, latino or any other race, i’d probably say dumb “youngsters” too. They’re brats, they may have the capacity to do real harm, or maybe they’re outgrow it . 100 hours of community service, pay for damages and one would hope sensitivity training (which won’t happen)

If there are ugly truths about a homosexual which the media omits as most did with Methew Wayne Shepard, then we will use our free speech rights to tell the ugly truths about the homosexual even if others dislike it. & there is nothing any1 can do to legally stop us from telling the ugly truths. Gay bashing victims will face the public opinion court as gay bashers do and ugly truths will be told about a homosexual if it’s found though it offends.

Just looking at this 19 year old, I am left with the impression that he had a previous gay experience that either did not go well or he flaked afterwards, thus feeling the need to single gay people out with paintball guns.
