John McCain’s campaign yesterday said over 20,000 people crowded in to hear him speak in Virginia Beach. That was a lie: ” The Virginia Beach Fire Marshal’s office estimated the size of the crowd to be 12,000. A McCain campaign spokeswoman claimed the crowd size was 25,000, but the Convention Center’s capacity is only 16,000.” [WVEC]

Men-sar, can you read? I only ask because you apparently can’t comprehend the 3rd-grade-level text here, and you commented on the gay cannibal story as if you thought it was a Morning Goods. So, just wondering.

This isn’t even the first time the McCain camp have lied bare-faced about their crowds. It’s tragically pathetic.

Mendacity.

McCain can’t draw a crowd unless that idiot Palin is with him and he knows it.

The current administration’s philosophy has always been Goebbels’ Big Lie Theory: if you repeat a lie often enough and loud enough, people will think it’s true. The same people, or their proteges, are running McCain’s campaign, and they have nothing to use but lies.
Think about it: with all the crap we know about McCain dumping his wife for a rich younger chick, getting his marriage license before he was even divorced and being an all-around turd of a person, why the hell did the Bush campaign have to make shit up about McCain back in 2000? They would have made him look bad enough just telling the truth about him – but they have some kind of pathological aversion to the truth. If McCain HAD drawn 25,000 people to his speech, they’d surely have to say it was 40,000.
