For the people who are wondering why this his statement is anti trans, it’s because he states that “if a man feels like he is a woman…” that’s not what it is. It is a woman who is assigned male at birth based on their presenting sex. Sex and gender are not the same thing. He makes the judgement that transgender people base things off of a choice not reality. He invalidates trans people. He is also advocating against an equality law for our transgender family because he thinks that a few people will take advantage and rape little girls. That’s just a f’n stupid reason to deny a group of people equal protection/representation and acknowledgement under the law and speaks to his over all feeling that they don’t deserve rights. This show is dishonest and staged. Much like the republican party. The employees you see on the show are never actually at the store. They have it made with a big TV contract. Why work for real? i am hoping someone can explain this trans stuff to me. i’m being serious i really dont understand this issue well. so for purpose of this discussion, lets say a male wants to transition to a female, does this mean he has to have the surgery, and take hormones to transition, then legally (meaning what ever appropriate legalities are required to change their status to a female) change to a female? OR can any male simply dress like a female, and decide them self (with no surgery, no hormones or legal changes) that they can just use the female bathroom when they personally wish to do so/ in other words what is the burden of proof that a male is now really a female with respect to using the female bathrooms?
