PayPal Has Stopped Funding Four Anti-Gay Hate Groups, But Six Remain

A few weeks ago, spearheaded a petition asking PayPal to revoke the accounts of ten international anti-gay hate groups for “[promoting] hate, violence, racial intolerance” in violation of PayPal’s terms of service. PayPal initially fretted over these groups’ “religious rights,” but with over 37,000 petition signatures PayPal finally discontinued the accounts for Truth in Action Ministries, Brazilian extremist Julio Severo’s sites, Noua Dreapta, and Dove World Outreach Center. Nevertheless, the six remaining hate groups continue to collect money through the online payment site. Perhaps another 37,000 signatures would help?
