Just when you thought you’d seen it all… A chainsaw-wielding nun is blowing up social media right now.
Sister Margaret Ann, a.k.a. the “Chainsaw Nun,” has been hard at work cutting up and removing trees felled by the Hurricane Irma.

Video of her wearing her full habit while getting her hands dirty during critical storm cleanup has gone viral. It was posted this week to the Miami-Dade Police Department’s Facebook page and has already garnered over five million views.

“The road was blocked; we couldn’t get through,” the sister tells CNN. “And I saw somebody spin in the mud and almost go into a wall, going off the road. So, there was a need, I had the means–so I wanted to help out.”

Sister Margaret Ann, who learned how to use the chainsaw by watching a video on YouTube, hopes others will see her and be inspired to get involved and help.

It’s true. People can’t stop talking about the chainsaw nun. We wanted to watch Salma Rushie on Maher last night but no one could stop talking about this nun so we missed him for gosh sakes.
