Well, the reviews are in and it seems everyone agrees that last night’s presidential debate was depressing AF.

Basically, for 93 minutes straight Donald Trump spewed complete nonsense at the American people, downplaying the whole “grab ’em by the pussy” scandal, inviting Bill Clinton’s alleged former mistresses to sit in the audience, accusing Hillary Clinton of being a fraud, bullying women, and laughing in the face of a 12-year-old rape victim, then calling her the devil, then saying her heart is “filled with hate,” before finally threatening to use to the power of the Oval Office to jail her if he is elected president.
All the while, Madam President, er, Secretary Clinton sat quietly with daggers in her eyes and let Mr. Trump continue digging his own grave while her poll numbers skyrocketed. (She’s now leading him by double digits.)

It was a deeply depressing, deeply upsetting, deeply unnerving event on many levels and it left us wishing we could just fast forward to November 9 when this whole shit show is finally over with. But at least some creative meme makers were able to find humor in it all. Thank god.

Hillary won because she remained cool, calm, and collected. She had to waste time defending herself while Trump tried to shake off his nasty video, saying it was just locker room talk. Hillary clarified it by telling us that the video shows us who Trump is. That should satisfy those who say Trump says what he means. Case closed.
Trump did not answer very many questions and the moderators repeatedly had to remind Trump to do so. Trump was sniffling again, I wonder if he sniffs cocaine to quiet down his temper.
I am ready to move on and vote for Hillary.

Don’t know what you were watching but it obviously was not the second debate! And you also have obviously not looked at the various fact checkers. Even the New York Times could hardly keek from saying Trump did nothing but lie, whereas Clinton was pretty much on point throughout. Trump was a pacing, sneering, pouting child!

I’m glad Trump won the debate. I especially liked it when he said if he were to be president he would appoint a prosecutor to go after Clinton. I hear that Rudy Giuliani said he figures as of now there are 23 different counts they could go after her with.
Did you see the look of horror on Chelsea Clinton and Bill Clinton’s faces? Those elitist Clintons must come down. BTW, Anderson Cooper and that Raddatz woman were awful (but no surprises there – they’re both blatant Clinton supporters).

I guess you are one of them: especially given that you consider a sniffling, pouting, pacing fact-poor blister rich performance by trump to be better than a level headed essentially truth packed showing by Clinton. Trump is clearly not a well man, and his mental state is degenerating in front of the entire country. It amazes me that some people seem unable to see that. When he loses (as he clearly will at this point), his outbursts are going to be horrific.

Hillary is obviously (obvious to anyone not in an alternative universe) an independent woman with her own views. What cements their relationship ia simply not obvious. Ans only the most obvious things could possibly break through into your imaginary world. Trump has said repeatedly that he will appoint justices who are opposed to lgbt rights, he has said the Republican platform (which is pro conversion therapy, anti marriage equality, and supports the right of “people of faith” to discriminate in places of business) “good”, and has verbally opposed marriage equality. He has chosen a clearly anti-gay man as his running mate! If you are in fact gay (and like many I assume you are a liar) by supporting a politician who intends to disenfranchise you you demonstrate that you re NOT a happy proud out gay man, but believe in your soul; that gay people are not worthy of the same respect as heterosexuals, and are rightly the focus of hostility. Say what you want, you demonstrate otherwise by your choices.
You support a politician who hates you and is using you, that shows how you really feel about yourself.

The woman Nancy O’Dell whom Trump verbally sexually assaulted, said on TV “There is no room for objectification of women! Not even in a locker room.”
But focus on Trumps defiant apology to her and all Americans. It shows his insincerity with his spooky, glaring contradictions. He has no practice of civility which would do him well to emulate. And, at the debate(#2)Trump only served up a preexisting narrative about himself, walking all over the stage like a panther behind Hillary ready to pounce. His hateful banter of “You’d be in Jail” was extremely un-presidential by any means. “His immature rhetoric use of language, is like a dangerous leader of some banana republic”~CNN. The past is truly his prologue. Next day FOX NEWS exclaimed Trump’s horrific rhetoric was a “masterpiece.” No it was NOT! He was pandering macho intimidation!! It did NOT phase Hillary. Thus his ending comment that “she is a very strong woman!”
BUT Shame on him and his running partner Pense. It’s a rule that you don’t divide your base. Which his party encouraged to do as we’ve seen at his rally’s.
He mistakenly screwed up Hillary’s comment about Lincoln’s remark. He made it sound like she was making it up. Hillary said she was quoting Lincoln from the film of the same name, but Trump didn’t hear that part I guess. Lincoln did tell his cabinet he was going to “court” both sides of Congress with rhetoric that each side would like to hear, just to get the Emancipation Proclamation bill signed immediately! It’s real history folks! I must interject here too that this was a time when the conservatives were the Democrats and the newly formed Republicans were the LIBERALS! The two party’s swapped ideologies starting in the 1940 thru the 1960’s to what they are today!
Anyway, Pense served up his religious tones of forgiveness to Trump for this sexual assault but doesn’t have this Christi-an attitude for Hillary who did the same for her husband’s 1990’s misconduct. Hillary worked things out with her husband bonding with love and compassion. Trump has no characteristics of this compassion.
The republicans party is diversifying Trump by saying they are voting for Hillary! They are jumping the sinking USS Trump Titanic ship in record numbers.
Pense said of Trump “It takes a BIG MAN to know when he’s wrong, and admit it!” This of course is pure Macho bullshit!
