PHOTOS: Big Hair and Bare Chests Abound at New York City’s 20Something Party

Ah, to be a 20something again. When it comes to club wear, it looks like anything goes these days. But hair? Style it way up and you’ll fit right in.

Last Thursday, the Swish Edition team had a chance to check out the hot 20Something party at XL MegaClub, part of Ian Reisner’s Out NYC complex in Hell’s Kitchen. For a bunch of 30- and 40somethings (yeah, I know!), we had a great time dancing and drinking and enjoying the view. Swish correspondent Justin Luke, together with his partners at BoiParty, pack the decked-out club with twinks and pretty boys—with a few muscle studs thrown in for good measure.

Click through for more pictures from 20Something, then check out this week’s Swish Edition at the end of the slideshow, featuring a chat with super-hot comedian Scott Nevins and a roundup of our recent NYC adventure.

Guy in the red shirt in picture 4, oh my god, my heart, what a cutie.

Hey, btw, Richard Burrowes, the photographer, is the guy in the middle in picture 12. Credit should be given when credit is due.

I live in NYC and I am 100% over the whole “polished” look of the gay boys here. Give me a redneck any day of the week who looks like he’d rather be drinking and Old Milwaukee beer than primping himself for hours in front of the mirror.

I’m glad to see the youngens aren’t into the concentration camp haircuts but the tattoos are still tragic.

Am I the only one who thinks the whole updo is likely to look as tragic in (probably less than) 10 years. Just thinking back on the 70’s Farrah Fawcett-thing that a lot of guys were rocking mid-80’s. Club looks cute — and my boy Jay Roth is rocking it out!

Damn life must be rough in NYC… those are the most shot-out looking twenty-somethings I’ve ever seen!

      Re: Scott Wallis pic #13,

Noting personal but I don’t think you had to tell us you’re not in the 20-something crowd.

@Tank: Wow, Tank. That was kinda unnecessary. (You better be young and gorgeous.)

When did youth become so unattractive? Most of the guys need to drink more water, get some sleep and eat. Not a very appealing crowd. What happened to NYC having hot guys?

Yeah #4 red shirt, that’s hot. The rest is skinny uncute. Palm Springs White Party was the same way. Went to it and there wasn’t one hottie in the crowd. I guess NY wins, at least they had ONE.
Time to grab those cute gay Mormon boys just out of college and teach them to live life in the real world, talk about eye candy.

Saw two bare chests (same guy) one obscured chest, and a stray nipple. Please don’t headline “Bare Chests” and not make good. Thanks
