Actor Sean Paul Lockhart (otherwise known as Brent Corrigan) brought his sex appeal to the Austin Gay & Lesbian International Film Festival last month turning out for the premier of one of his latest non porn film The Dark Place. We all know what was on people’s mind during the meet and greet, though.
Check out Queerty’s guide to the best films that came out of the festival this year. Plus a photo sneak peek from the festival’s screening parties and cocktail hours.

That’s a good fit for Sean/Brent: and he was making strides towards a mainstream acting career. That’s why I was baffled and surprised that he choose to come back to porn, ( bareback and all), pretty much throwing away all gains he had made in the mainstream acting world.
He must not have been as serious about acting as I thought he was. And patience is a must in that field. But after all it’s his life to live.
PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS
Only because he has that silly looking scruff on his face, do I hope his is an epic fail :p

@Tackle: Agreed! It is his life, but it’s sad considering he had the best chance of any for a complete crossover. If he’s fooling himself that it’s not completely over, then he’s in for a nasty awakening.

WHAT!? He’s doing barebacking porn?? After everything he’s been through? What an dummy. Awful example to set. It’s obviously just for money. He actually might have been able to say he made a mistake when he was seventeen and got caught up. The Kocis murder. It’s a compelling story. He needed to stop doing porn and focus on a serious acting career. But you can’t blame doing bareback porn in your late twenties on youthful indiscretion. He will never be taken seriously at this point. Seems like he’s happy doing porn. He looks happy.

@JimboinLA: FYI, no one is making gay porn with condoms except the big LA companies…Lucas Entertainment has transformed into Treasure Island Media with its emphasis on raunch and bareback…and not just bareback, cream pie, cum dump barebacking.

Having lived through the epidemic in NYC from 1987-1996 this just makes me sick. I really don’t understand the big appeal of bareback. I’m glad I no longer support the porn industry. Hopefully the whole industry will just die and the performers won’t.

Dose it matter Sean/Brent is a cute guy and I wish him all the luck in the world.

@QJ201: And last but not least……….THEY ARE MAKING MONEY!
Sean, I say go for it. Your costar, Brent Everett, has made a very GOOD living in porn. If he really was able to offer to build a swimming pool for his community what does that tell you about the money that can be made and what you are missing out on. You have bills that have to be paid and you need something (as in career) that YOU feel comfortable with and more or less know your way around. You tried the other side and it didn’t work. Accept it and move on.
In porn, all one has to do is “perform” and with his good looks and credentials he will go a lot further there than he would hoping main stream producers and studios will ignore his past, which the majority that he has been shopped to will/have not.
Go for it dude. You are still young and have a lifetime of bills that will HAVE to be paid. Only this time were I you I would focus more on the business side of it instead just in front of the camera. Accept reality and make what is obviously SELLING. Condoms no longer do. Ask any producer of strait porn how much they are making using condoms in their videos as to no condom. Tell who ever has a problem with it to talk to their priest, pastor, rabbi…………..

@Bob LaBlah: Absolutely the worst advice on any thread on any site EVER.
