It’s no secret that Monday night’s Broadway Beauty Pageant was a tad gay—in fact only one of the five contestants was straight (Jesse Swimm a.k.a. Mr. Mary Poppins), making the show, a benefit for the Ali Forney Center, a true “Men on Parade.” A parade which, as you can see in the photo above, host Tovah Feldshuh, was all too happy to lead.
In the end, though, it took wit and talent—as well as a rockin’ bod—for Mr. Mamma Mia Andrew Chappelle (above, far right) to take the crown. For details on how he pulled it off, check out our in-depth report on the event.

How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

Andrew Chappelle sported a rainbow prop for a whimsical Wizard of Oz-themed swimwear show. Not pictured: his dick-a-boxl accessory, which actually contained candy that he threw out to the audience.
Chappelle, a.k.a. Mr. Mamma Mia, becomes Mr. Broadway Beauty Pageant 2012.

Eh, the guy on the left in #2 is the only one worth writing home about.

He could be Adonis and there’s no way I’d see his show.
