On July 19, the Bowery Hotel’s Terrace Room transformed into a tropical retreat for Oasis, the Ali Forney Center‘s annual summer benefit in New York. Actress Parker Posey hosted the season shindig, which saw designers Jeffrey Costello, Robert Tagliapietra and Marlon Gobel rubbing elbows with fashion writer Bryanboy, drag royal Empress XXVI Witty Repartee, Hollywood.com’s Brian Moylan and RuPaul’s Drag Race star Chad Michaels (above, with AFC Executive Director Carl Siciliano), who dazzled the crowd with a live performance. Proceeds from Oasis, sponsored by Barclays, support the Center’s LGBT homeless-teen shelter and services.
Said AFC Executive Director Carl Siciliano, “We are especially grateful that Parker, a longtime supporter, is lending her celebrity to support the most vulnerable members of the LGBT community—our youth.”
