PHOTOS: Frameline is arguably the largest and most renowned LGBT film festival in the world. Taking place primarily at the historic Castro Theatre in San Francisco, this year’s Frameline37 ran movies selected from over 700 submissions and representing 30 countries from around the world. Frameline37 opened with Stacie Passon’s gripping drama “Concussion”, featured the compelling exposé “Valentine Road”, and closed with Darren Stein’s feel-good comedy “G.B.F”. The movies were more star-studded and bigger than ever, with the turn out and celebrations following suit.
The LGBT Film Festival circuit is just beginning, so be sure to take a look at our festival recommendations and Film Fest Guide. Next up is OutFest in Los Angeles where many of the same films, including “Concussion” and “G.B.F.”, will be featured.
