PHOTOS: Joe Manganiello Gets Wet For ‘Men’s Health’ August Issue

Who knew a soaking wet werewolf could look so good?

True Blood star Joe Manganiello is taking his statuesque physique to the pool for the cover of Men’s Health‘s August issue, which appropriately displays the words “SIX-PACK ABS” and “SEX” in size 12,465 font.

The 36-year-old demigod told MH that he works out twice a day, six days a week, and that all good werewolves should leave something to the imagination: “I want to look sinewy. I want to look like an animal when the shirt comes off, but I want it to be a bit misleading when I have the shirt on.”

Manganiello also confessed that after losing his house, clothes, car and agent in 2002, he was smoking two packs of cigarettes and drinking a bottle of whiskey a day. So, there’s still hope for us!

  • Caleb in SC

I see him and understand why people become stalkers.

  • balehead

He bounced back and so can you….

It’s funny who these celebrities can talk about who much they work-out and what their so-called fitness routines are, and leave out the steroid usage. I just don’t equate recreational steroid use with health and fitness.

  • Homophile

    He’s hot but…

    In order of do’ablity IMO:

Although who am I kidding, any order would be fine.

  • Homophile

You have absolute proof he’s taking steroids? No? Okay then GTFO.

He gets paid to maintain that body, it’s essentially his job.

@Homophole: Do you have proff he’s not. NO? OK. Then GTOF. Of course if he gets paid to maintain his body then he’s gonna do it by any means necessary. Unlike you, I’ve been in bodybuilding for over 30yrs. Been a competitive over 25. Trained bodybuilders for shows. Very easy for m to spot steroid use.

There’s just something about him, I really don’t know, but he does NOTHING for me. He’s not like Channing Tatum who I find repulsive and overrated, I can actually see the “hotness” here, but it just doesn’t move me at all.

  • unclemike

@Tackle: It’s usually up to the person making the claim to provide the proof of allegations. “Very easy for m [sic] to spot” is hardly proof.

Go peddle your papers somewhere else.

@unclemike: LMAO… at your ridiculous post. First off this is the internet. Who provides proof on-line with regards to someone’s esthetics/cosmetics? ? And where is it written that for someone to have or express an opinion/viewpoint/belief/Idea: that proof must be provided? This is the internet not a court of law. I’m sure that you have your opinion about who you find goodlooking/hot. It would be rediculos for anyone to say provided proof. Because that’s your opinion. And even if I provided before and after pics or whatever, those who do not want to believe wont. So my opinion through experience. Steroids.

besides why are you here in the first place,as you think so little of him…honestly we could care less if you competed in female body-building competitions
