Thousands of leathermen, leatherwomen, gearheads, jocks, twinks, bears, rubbermen and other assorted kinksters came together this Memorial Day Weekend for the 37th annual International Mr. Leather Competition in Chicago. Over 50 men competed for the coveted top title, which ultimately went to Patrick Smith, Eagle L.A. Mr. Leather and Mr. Los Angeles Leather 2015. We can hardly wait for next year!

I didn’t see any leather daddies. Not my definition of one anyway.

Good grief…Some people have way too much money and free time.

@Geeker: I agree 100%.
I support everyone’s right to live their own lives and engage in whatever fetishes they enjoy, but when I see the dog mask and that black underwater alien hazmat suit, I have to say: I DO NOT GET IT. There is just nothing about it that even hints at eroticism to me.

I am going to have to unfollow this site. It is not my taste, be it hetero or homosexual.

IML and other leather contests have always been silly and actual leathermen or people who are into leather and/or BDSM are not into them and see them as the total joke that they have been for decades. Most men who are into leather and who are obsessed with the contests know nothing at all about actually being masculine. IML stopped being about leather decades ago and it’s just all about rubber/latex, dog masks, and other kinks now. Most people who go to it don’t actually care about the contest but just go to have lots of bareback sex and use drugs with random men.
