PREMIERE HAUS

Out director Darren Stein (below, third from left) has been a hit with queer film fans for more than a decade due to his celebrated comedies Sparkler (1997) and Jawbreaker (1999). His latest, G.B.F., described by Variety as a mix of Clueless, Mean Girls, Pretty in Pink, should prove to be no exception. After several well-received screenings on the festival circuit this past summer, Stein’s comedy will air exclusively on DirecTV this Friday and be available through December 19, followed by a theatrical release January 17. See photos from the film’s Hollywood premiere last night, attended by its stars, including comedy vets Megan Mullally and Horatio Sanz, below.

[stupid enter key] I hope Horatio waited until after filming to toke his doobies. he couldn’t keep a straight face on SNL.
