PHOTOS: ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ is getting an international spinoff

VIDEO

As the nation–nay, the known galaxy–awaits the January 25th premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars season 3 (meet the competing queens [again] above), more exciting news in the Drag Race family has been announced: Thailand is getting its very own Drag Race!

While there have been talks of a UK spinoff for years (Michelle even said “It’s going to happen, just don’t know when. I’m not giving up and I will fight for this bitch ’til I die! It’s gonna happen.”), it looks like Thailand, a country with a rich drag culture, will be the first international stop for RPDR.

Some photos of the set have been making their way around social media, which you can ooh- and ahh- at to your heart’s content below:

Piyarat Kaljareuk – Vice President of the Katana Group Public Co. Ltd production company – wrote on Instagram: “This new year, WE are preparing the juicy and glamorous present for you guys. Drag Race Thailand confirmed! See you soon on #LINETV, a blast guaranteed!!”
