International tennis stars and longtime rivals Stan Wawrinka and Novak Djokovic competed fiercely at the Australian Open on Tuesday. We have no idea who won, nor do we really care, but we do care about what happened at the fence net after the game match.
The two presumably heterosexual athletes are known for their unending bromance. Now anyone who knows us, knows we love photos of straight athletes caught in compromising positions. Wawrinka and Djokovic have been photographed countless times together engaging in some rather homoerotic embraces — homoerotic to us, at least. So not only are these star players good at sports, but they’re able to show affection without worrying about being called gay.
Looks like we’ve taught the straight boys a little something after all.

For the record, Stan won. A quick simple check would have reviled that. And I don’t see ” anything” homoerotic erotic about their after match embrace. No different from an embrace that two brothers would give. Stop reaching Queerty…

@Tackle: Why so serious? This posting was obviously meant to be fun.

@Tackle: 100% cosign. Not only is it reaching, but it’s that gross, sad reaching that makes every show of affection a gay embrace. These guys are allies. People who can know love are allies. Why would you want to make some guy self aware about not looking to affectionate. Queerty speaks from both sides of the mouth, calling this “Straight athletes caught in compromising positions”. There is nothing compromising about these friends, just about me for being dumb enough to keep coming back here.

This is a super ridiculous and stupid article. You see 100s of embraces like that after matches every year in tennis. There’s nothing “bromantic” about it.

Their European damn it.
nudedude
looks like love to me.

Oh come on, clearly they are just really good friends. I love you, you love me, homosexuality, people think we are just friends, but we’re really lesbians!

@RSun: I know I don’t get why people find this offensive? Any affection is lovely, whether it’s considered gay, str8, sporty or not.
