The dating app Tinder sets itself apart by relying on your own personal network to link you up with suitable matches, connecting through Facebook.
Which means it’s where people go to put their best foot forward in trying to attract a mate (or a playmate) — nary a headless torso in sight.
One user has found another use for the app, though. To Jarrod Allen, Tinder is a muse.
He recreates women’s photos, and we would argue gives them exponentially more value.
Here is some of his fine work:
Horse Lips
TENDER! Tender photos, not tinder photos (unless you’re gonna light a fire with them.)
mada
@Horse Lips: Uhh. Tinder is the name of the dating app, brahh.
Bear Aspirin
Side boob photo FTW!
Ditamo
I’ve never been on Tinder but why would there be a pregnant lady trying to hook up with people…LOL
cflekken
This guy’s funny. I want to date him. Who has his number?
lykeitiz
@cflekken: I was thinking the same thing! He’s really not my type, but these photos just amped up his hotness off the chart!
KEVINVENTION
Back Off, Fellas. I want First Dibs. Funny AND Adorable? Just my type…

This is vaguely creative and has nil social commentary value. More creative and valuable might be take pictures of floaters left in commodes and to ‘re-create’ them with his own turds to make social, ecological, and other commentary about the surival of Gaia-Earth in the Anthropocene.
