When Nicholas Hoult appeared in the 2009 Tom Ford drama A Single Man as Colin Firth’s May/December love interest, we felt a little pitter-patter in our hearts.
Well seven years later, Hoult is finer than ever.

I was lucky enough to meet and act in a scene with Nicholas in the movie DARK PLACES, it was filmed in my hometown and I got cast in a small role, had three or four lines in a scene with Nicholas and Charlize Theron. Nicholas walked right up to me and introduced himself and my butter melted!! I couldn’t speak. He is gorgeous in person!! Charlize was nice, but I was only there for Nicholas,lol…I got to take a pic with him and I will treasure it always, and whenever I need a pick me up, I watch our scene on youtube.

Ok, She is pretty – but, gurl – do a squat! I mean, I get the aesthetic and body type, but seriously, it’s 2016; booty is gawd these days.
Speaking of mis-casting him as “Beast” – keep in mind, that later in the cannon, Beast is portrayed by Kelsey Grammer, a true bearish-hunk. Unless Mr. Hoult beings taking his protein via IV daily, and then somehow gains a gorgeous pelt of chest hair – I can’t see the transition to Beast as viable long-term. Also, his range as an actor, his talent and capabilities should have been given the time to blossom unhindered by the limited screen time and reserved nature of Beast.
Anywho – don’t we have a “Portrait of Dorian Gray” to rehash, or a Peter Pan to recast on Broadway (or West End), or something that takes advantage of his looks and his ability to act better? When you put him in a cast, with McAvoy and Fassbender – what can be really expected of screen time. The ‘kid’ has the chops and few feature films under his belt.
If he bulks up a little, and honed the craft – he will be in the right age group for the consideration of the next Bond – with Daniel Craig departing and him right in time, buff and with range of an actor that has been acting since he was a boy, in feature films, and with a ‘following’ that he has already paid homage to and now supports him, and further – recognition across the pond as “Beast”.
