Placebo Get Gay

Alt-rockers Placebo performed in Vilnius, Lithuania this weekend, where openly gay Swedish bassist Stefan Olsdal and bisexual Belgian singer Brian Malko locked lips to protest the country’s anti-gay attitudes. Though the government doesn’t discriminate against homosexuals, the majority of the population continues to harbor prejudices. In addition to their queer kiss, Olsdal took some time to write “homo” across his belly. Ain’t that sweet?

It’s great to see people with the backbone to fight hate, while right in the heart of it.
