According to the BBC, he fell near the main stage, in-between performances by Green Day and alt-J.
Paramedics spent 30 minutes trying to save his life, but ultimately there was nothing they could do.

To supplement his income, he was a massage therapists at The Grand Hotel in Brighton.
Andrew Mosley, the hotel’s general manager, told the BBC: We are all very sad to hear the news, it is the most terrible news and our hearts go out to his friends and family.”
The band Slowdive was scheduled to perform after Green Day, but they suspended their performance after learning of Monroy’s death.
