INTERNET TROLLS

Politican Horrified To Learn His Stolen Pics Are Being Used On Grindr To Offer Sex For Cash

Ru5tyY5qA young councillor in Liverpool is outraged after discovering an internet troll has been using his pictures to solicit sex on Grindr. The going price for his services? A paltry £40. (That’s $67.23 U.S.)

21-year-old Cllr Jake Morrison (pictured) of Wavertree told the Liverpool Echo it was “bizarre” and deeply “disturbing” to find his photos had been stolen by an impostor.

“I am a politician and for somebody to use my pictures and pretend to be me in this way is damaging to my reputation and is very serious,” he said.

The impostor allegedly sends pictures of Morrison to strangers on Grindr, then offers to perform kinky sex acts in exchange for money.

“I have no idea why someone would do this and I hope they will stop,” Morrison said. “People will think it is me who is making these offers of sex, but it’s not.”

And just how can people be sure it’s not Morrison?

Because, he told the Echo, he already has a Grindr profile.

Morrison said he found out about the impostor when another user alerted him about it.

But this isn’t the first time he’s been targeted by internet trolls. In the past, he says he has been mocked about his sexuality, received threats against his family members, and been likened to pedophile MP Cyril Smith.

“There are clearly issues with the internet and we need to look at ways of dealing with this,” he said.  “I’m a public figure and things like this will happen, but what happens when everyday people suffer like this?”

“I won’t stand by while people are suffering at the hands of trolls!” he proclaimed.
