A recent study tried to sum up the lives and times of mixed race children, specifically those with one black parent and one white parent. And their conclusions, aside from being totally offensive, are rather ugly: “Mixed-race kids do have one advantage over white and black kids: the mixed-race kids are much more attractive on average.” [SH]

This is Gay in what way? When I look into the bottom of the cesspool, I see Queerty editors trolling for Adevertisement Clicks to pay for their over-extended Trust Funds. This is beyond offensive! Please remove this garbage as you are as bad as the previous messenger. All people are beautiful! It’s the inside that needs work on some (like Queerty!)
Afroguapo
Economies of scale for them to use salacious content from their other related site(s), redistribute here to foment the usual arguments/posts from us in order to generate more hits and thus make more $$$. I now only periodically visit Queerty because I find their tactics somewhat dishonorable, some of the posters pathetic and puerile, and it’s ridiculous they haven’t implemented a standard TOS in 2008.

I’m bemused by the articles on pedophilia, biracialism, and other non-queer topics, too. You can’t really help what posters put on here, but the articles are sometimes WTFable.

Hey, Queerty, let me suck your dick a while. I find unusual and tangential commentary provocative, interesting and worthwhile. While some of your readers would rather you stick to the intellectual gay ghetto, I find your variety enriching. As for mixed race children, as a welfare worker, I also found this to be true, hundreds of time over. Hybrid vigor is a lovely thing. Forgive me if this sounds puerile, bitches.

Darth, they can do a Terms of Service like other sites to discourage some posters. Vegas, I am all for diverse content (pop culture, gay issues, travel, health, politics, fashion etc.) but I have noticed a perceptible increase in posting more race-oriented stuff after posters like Churchill et al went apoplectic with their rantings which only added fuel to the fire from those offended by their posts who responded in kind. So no, I wasn’t calling you puerile.
blake
Afroguapo,
I have to agree with you. I’ve stayed away from Queerty the last few weeks because I was sick of the racist comments. Queerty seems to post many stories that have a negative spin on non-white people.
Scumbags like Church-Nazi feel welcome to come here and spew their hatred.
Finally, “hybrid vigor” does not occur in humans. Biologically, there is no such thing as “race.” The differences between “races” are extremely minor and reflect environmental adaptation. Genetic variations within so-called races are more pronounced than between those of two different “races.”
It’s easy to see how racism plays a large role on the part of commenters on this site. The number of comments on articles about John McCain are miniscule in comparison to those on Barack Obama. Although McCain has a long anti-gay history and has repeatedly spoken out against gay-rights, few commenters show as much interests in articles about him to denounce him.
In contrast, a posting of Barack Obama will bring out the racist scum to vent their horrible bile of lies and bigotry. Gay Republicans like Must See or R2D2 will spew junk about tax and spend policies or go into an illogical, never-ending loop about affirmative action. All the while neglecting clear facts that McCain IS AGAINST GAY RIGHTS and Obama supports them.
Queerty simply benefits from the traffic numbers. In particular, editors/bloggers are paid based on clicks. The more popular a story, the more money in their pockets. Therefore, following in the tradition of the GOP, Queerty bloggers like to toss out racially charged propaganda to get out the clicks.
While other gay audience focused sites like Towleroad have terms of service and ban racist posters, Queerty encourages them.
That’s very sad.
Anyway, like I said, I stopped coming to this site because of the racist trolls. Why should I contribute to the success of a site that enganges in such reprehensible tactics?
VegasTeaRoom
Blake,
Exactly.
Why should you (rhet.)?
As for your biology, it leaves a lot to be desired as gene pools do exist in humans and hybrid vigor, going outside the gene pool, gets rid of recessive gene malefactors. Take Hemophilia, for existence. But what do I know (again, rhet.)?
