WHITE ROOM | MATT AND BLUE
Named after the previous late owner of our home, Kandiland has had many updates in the 6 years we've owned her. From ceiling to floor, there isn't a part of this house that hasn't had our hands on it. One majorly procrastinated project has been the kitchen.
The kitchen of choice = more than $10,000 including all new cabinets, counter tops, plumbing and electrical work.
The kitchen we decided to go with for now = $300 including all paint and supplies.
Choosing to go the painting route not only saved us thousands of dollars but looks fresh and helps tie in some of the other aspects of our home that we've done ourselves such as our concrete floors.
In this case DIY was the way to go. Perhaps we'll bring in the pros for a different project in the future. But probably not.
