In a stunning attempt to indoctrinate American newspaper readers, their kids, and their families into the homosexual lifestyle, radical homosexual activists are planning a “Love Takes Over” campaign, encouraging their disgusting ilk to spend the week of Jan. 3-9 writing their local newspapers with hopes of them printing pro-homosexual “marriage” letters to the editor and op-eds.
These activists suggest their supporters explain things like “Why Civil Marriage is a Civil Rights issue” and “How inequality affects the families and children of same-sex couples.” It is unclear, however, whether these agenda-pushing fringe agents will also affect Americans who only read newspapers on the web or on a Kindle.

I like this. I’ll do my bit and send new letters (maybe cycle some old letters to different papers, too).
I’ll check comments later to find out why this is a stupid idea and why I’m an idiot for falling for it; can’t imagine that some other Queerty reader knows that this is wrong thinking for some reason or other.
Mo
so you really like this idea and you’re being ironic?

…which is mostly fine, since the demographics of “most anti-gay” and “still read print newspapers” line up nicely.

…i think that you can read the letters to the editor on many newspaper web sites. yeah, newspapers have web sites, too. if they didn’t, it wouldn’t be so easy for bloggers to copy and paste their original material.
