He’s an American rapper signed to Lil Wayne’s record label, Young Money, where he makes millions alongside actual famous people like Drake and Nicki Minaj. You probably don’t know who he is, and you definitely won’t care after you hear how much he hates “gay ass shit.”
TMZ found Tyga outside Hollywood’s Supperclub this week, where a photographer probed him about the two $10 million lawsuits he’s facing for allegedly showing nipples in his new music video [insert loud sigh here].
The rapper’s initial response was, “Look at my car. Do I look like I care about a lawsuit, bruh??”

Hold on a second. Tyga is saying gay in the slang way, which is still wrong, but he clearly was not saying it in a homophobic way or in any way as an attack on gay people.
Tyga has released singles with Scissor Sister’s Jake Shears in the past, he is not anti-gay.

I’m not sure which article some of the folks commenting read, but he is absolutely using “gay” in a homophobic way. Look at it in context. He’s harping on the fact the male photographer is taking pictures of a (n word, which in this context means “dude” or “male”). Instead, the photographer should go in the club + get some women (because that’s the “hetero” thing to do). When told the photog is just doing his job, he says it’s a gay job, because it requires this guy to take pictures of other men, presumably. Any way you slice it, this dude is an asshole.
