Droog News

Ready for an ultra-violent, all-male stage adaptation of A Clockwork Orange? We are.

When a man cannot choose, he ceases to be a man.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, some droog news: Anthony Burgess’s A Clockwork Orange is getting a full-fledged, all-male stage treatment that promises to be way homoerotic and basically an utter outrage.

Headed by handsome British actor Jonno Davies as good-naturedly sociopathic gang leader Alex DeLarge and directed by Alexandra Spencer-Jones, the production is bound to be an oft-shirtless, way-bloody spectacle.

In conclusion, we’d gleefully tie, bind, and brutally murder anyone who gets in the way of our procuring tickets.

    Basically, It’s for New Yorkers…

    • PinkoOfTheGange

I think it would do better in Denver or Seattle…At least the movie was a lot more entertaining when high…or so I hear.

and I wrote this comment, because I thought of Matthew Bourne’s all male swan Lake ballet, that travelled in many theatres in the US and around the world. So, if it is successfull, it would be great to see it in other cities.

Sam6969 – It’s theater. I’m sure you could contact the show if you’d like to finance a production where you live. I’m sure there are things where you live that New Yorkers are not privy to… unless they traveled there.

Thosse haircuts are known as fasch. As in fascist.

As worn by the Nazis / White Supremacists / KKK who recently frequented Charlottesville, Virginia and Durhman, North Carolina and coming soon to a gay bar near you.

How wonderful to see such spectacular coifing and ultra-violence from GayWorld and the breathless hyperventilation by Queerty, whose denizens have often been victims of white christian supremacist fascist ultra-violence.

    Hypocrisy anyone?

Have you ever seen A Clockwork Orange? It is social satire not a documentary.

And it is a hairstyle that has been adopted by…
      Not popularized by…
And most importantly that isn’t it. To much body.

Honestly how how do the youngins find time and energy for the all this rage? They should direct that energy to helping a real live person.

If that’s what you consider Fascist then half of gay america is Fascist. Then again maybe you’re just out of touch with the last trends.

It looks ridiculous. I would buy the ticket just for the nudity and nothing else.
