Rumors that former NFL quarterback Kordell Stewart is gay have been swirling for years. On last night’s season six premiere of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Stewart’s ex-wife, Porsha, confirmed those rumors are true. Or at least she very strongly suggested so.
At the time of the taping, the two were in the process of getting divorced.
“There were definitely times in the marriage that Kordell didn’t necessarily want me, physically, and that made me wonder, what does he want?” a teary-eyed Porsha confessed during one of her taped interviews. “When we first got together, I asked him about rumors of him being gay, because family members were bringing it up to me and friends were asking me about it, and he explained it away.”
“I didn’t question whether he was gay or not because someone else said it,” she continued. “Any reasons that I questioned it were things I had experienced or seen.”

That was about all the detail she went into, probably because she’s under an iron-clad confidentiality agreement.
Kordell filed for divorce from Porsha in March of this year, shortly after season five of RHOA wrapped, though he didn’t give her any warning ahead of time. She learned about the break-up on Twitter.
Ouch.
We’re not sure is tackier: Dumping your trophy wife online or outing your ex-husband on a reality TV show. It’s too bad things didn’t work out between this couple because they seem perfect for each other.

Tacky? Annoying? What’s tacky and annoying is for a gay man to marry a woman representing himself as straight. Tacky? Annoying? is having your wife find out you’re divorcing her on twitter. That’s a punk move. Kordella has been rumored to be making the trek to Piedmont Park for years. If it acts like a queen, smells like a queen and looks like the lizard queen, then it’s a QUEEN! Queen Kordella has arrived….please genuflect.
