Say what you will about some of his recent career decisions, but Neil Patrick Harris‘ summer flick The Best and The Brightest, which managed to squeeze in some of Amy Sedaris’ facial expressions, could actually be the cute comedy I’ve been waiting for him to deliver. Sure, it’s a bit straight-forward, but it’ll make for a nice lazy Sunday afternoon matinee between a boozy brunch and dinner with the in-laws. (Posts like this, of course, must carry the requisite request for Newsweek‘s Ramin Setoodeh to review the film for gayness.)

Good, at least it’s not a smurf movie.

Was that Cpt. Janeway (sp?) right at the end? If so, I’m in!

nph i can take or leave; but anything even remotely connected with a sedaris merits my attention.
incidentally, i went to school with the actor who plays nph’s sleazy friend clark. he’s incredibly funny and clever and talented — which is annoying.
