No one knows how to make an entrance quite like Richard Simmons. The flamboyant middle-aged fitness guru stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and entered the studio in a way that only he could—by sitting in special guest Bill Hader’s lap and sucking his thumb.
We’d like to say that most of the audience’s riotous laughter happened during the incredible entrance above, but the entire subsequent interview was a hilarious trainwreck that read more like an SNL skit than an actual interview, and even Kimmel himself couldn’t stifle laughter.
Shortly before stripping down to a unitard and giving Bill Hader a lap dance, Simmons had a chance to speak briefly about the upcoming album he’s working on. Apparently the album will be full of duets with stars like Katy Perry, Bonnie Raitt, and Pitbull (he’s still waiting to hear back from all three).
