Ricky Martin announces he and Jwan Yosef are expecting a fourth child

Husbands Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef are expecting a fourth child.

Martin revealed the news Saturday night at the Human Rights Campaign’s National Dinner in Washington DC.

Singer and actor Martin attended the event with his sons, Matteo and Valentino, and his husband of two years, Yosef. He said their youngest child, their daughter Lucia, born last December, was at home with grandma.

Martin paid tribute to his family from the stage.

“Thank you so much, HRC, for what you have done for my family,” said Martin. “My family is here,” he says, scanning the audience. “Jwan, I don’t see you, but my husband Jwan, I love you.

“My beautiful twins, Valentino and Matteo, they’re also here: I love you with all my heart, you’re my strength. You inspire me every day. You motivate me to keep doing what I’m doing. And you guys are amazing kids … I love you.

“Lucia, my baby girl, who’s not here with us, she stayed at home with grandma, but she’s also the light of my life.

“And by the way, I have to announce, we are pregnant. We are waiting,’ he says, adding laughing, “I love big families!”

Martin, 47, became a dad to twins Matteo and Valentino in August 2008 via a gestational surrogate. He began dating Yosef, a Syrian-Swedish painter of Kurdish and Armenian descent, in 2016. They married in a low-key ceremony in late 2017.

Martin has previously been open about his desire for a big family. In a red carpet interview with E! News at the Golden Globes in January 2018, he revealed he had recently married Yosef and said: “I want four more pairs of twins.

“I would love to have a big family, but there’s a lot going on at this moment, a lot of work, wedding … It’s a lot going on so we’re going to put things in order first and then we are going to get ready for many more kids.”

It looks like that plan’s now being put into action!
