Right Wingers Are Like Dogs

You know when a dog starts gnawing on a mystery object and simply won’t let go? Yeah, that’s kind of what’s happening with the right wing and the “super staph” reports…

Some social conservatives insist that the media and University of California dismissed the gay panic out of political correctness. And guess who’s at the head of the line: Matt Barber.

Via CNS:

Conservative groups say the truth about a new “multi-drug resistant microbe” prevalent among homosexual men is not being presented to the public because of political correctness.

…The media are now obscuring that fact, according to Matt Barber, director of cultural policy for Concerned Women for America (CWA).

“The real story here is the way that the media have whitewashed this outbreak,” Barber told Cybercast News Service. “It is amazing to see what they’ve done with this…The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and other organizations began to jump up and down a bit and scream, and The New York Times and other organizations started to backpedal,” Barber said.

“The story was no longer the dangers associated with the outbreak – and the behaviors associated with it,” said Barber. “The story now became about how groups like mine were supposedly misrepresenting the outbreak as some sort of ‘new gay plague’ or ‘the new AIDS’ – things we never said.”

Barber and his Concerned Women of America may never have said “new gay plague,” but he certainly did connect the drug-resistant staph strain to HIV. Don’t remember? Here’s what their press release said on January 16, 2008:

The medical community has known for years that homosexual conduct, especially among males, creates a breeding ground for often deadly disease. In recent years we have seen a profound resurgence in cases of HIV/AIDS, syphilis, rectal gonorrhea and many other STDs among those who call themselves ‘gay.’

Barber also said that shows like Will & Grace helped promote the gay “lifestyle,” which has “deadly consequences”.

This mutt needs to be put down – or at least taken to obedience school.

If the media had the slightest idea that they would go anywhere with the nowhere story about the new “outbreak”i.e. if it was an “outbreak” of any consequence, they would do it. Barber of course is prototypisc of the latest outbreak of downright stupidity if he thinks that Will and Grace promote any kind of lifestyle to speak of except a comedy; it has nothing to do with sex or disease.

Thankfully these sexually frustrated bags have him to pimp for them: what a kick in the teeth!

One page ads on MRSA have appeared in all gay media in New York and coming to an area near you. Pick out a nice outfit for the Concentration Camps that the right-wingers and some on the supposed left would have us go to. I bags the name “Typhoid Mary” with this SuperAids, Anthrax, Queers-as-Fear small-minded nutcases because the fear of terrorism is hackneyed. I haven’t met a dog this vicious and I know pitbulls!! I always preferred Karen and Jack to Will and Grace, anyway. Isn’t Murphy Brown having a baby out of wedlock somewhere…like on Boston Public. Quick, run, go fetch, Corporate Smeardia types.

Dogs are beautiful, noble creatures filled with limitless love for the men and women around them. It’s an insult to dogs to compare them to Matt Barber.
