In April, the world was thrown into a tizzy when it was announced that Ross Butler would not be returning to play Reggie in season two of the CW’s Riverdale.
It was a sad day for all.
But order has been restored.

How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
Butler has been replaced by model/actor Charles Melton, and we have a feeling he’s going to be mighty popular:
My first day on set with the cast was like opening a Christmas gift you didn't think your parents could afford in a million years.

Remember smoking-related deaths kill more LGBT people than hate crimes each day. Don’t start in the first place, or get help quitting. Your life is more important than tobacco.

Sad when celebs show themselves smoking.

Who is the red-head? The guy is K.J. Apa. He only plays the lead character, Archie, in Riverdale, the show Melton is joining. Your question is rather like asking who the black guy in the white shirt sitting next to the general is in this photo:

The fake ginger is KJ Apa. Never understand why people destroy their looks and their insides by smoking.

The “beast” snap with Mr Kelly Lee Ripa puts bad thoughts in my head. Both of them.

The diversity hiring for this show is literally just for show. The CW loves to promote diverse casts to win awards but doesn’t really give them many lines or storylines. They hired a dark skinned girl who’s very attractive to play Josie and she’s all over the promotional material yet rarely seen. You’d think she was a main character.
To make matters worse they then gave a light skinned girl the storyline that should’ve gone to Josie who is ON the promotional material.
I like the show and I’m used to the CW’s antics but I can’t get excited about their “diverse” casting when any non-white cast members are basically just background fodder. You could replace them with extras and no one would notice.
