Today in stupid celebrity feuds-cum-celebrity resolutions, we’ve got Rosie O’Donnell picking a fight (via Access Hollywood) with Glee‘s Ashley Fink, who plays Lauren Zizes, over the plus-size storyline between Zizes and Mark Salling’s Puck. “Every woman I know who’s heavy has very strong feelings about that storyline,” says Rosie. “They’re like, ‘Can you believe that? I think it’s horrible. That never happens in school. That character is so unlikable. Why didn’t they get a pretty heavy girl?'”
Fink responded with, “I am surprised at the comments she made. I’ve got swagger too, so I don’t find my storyline unrealistic.”
Then the two did their Twitter thing, because this is how celebrities communicate with each other, and their publics:

How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

Next week tune in as Rosie lobbies for a guest role on Glee. She’ll play one of Rachel’s two dads.

Oh, Rosie, Rosie, Rosie. Will you ever grow the frack up? You were a beast when you body slammed me (twice) as I was coming out of the elevators at ABC. You were a rude beast on air. You never apologized to me or the people that were the focus of your on-air rants. So that is a step in the right direction.
Just stop and think before you say or do something, I mean that’s un-fracking-believably immature on your part.
Benny
Oh please stop bashing Rosie and report on something important like GAGA selling out to Target!!!

Unfortunately you don’t know the whole story – Rosie’s comments were taken out of context by Access Hollywood and made into an issue when there was none – it’s laughable if it wasn’t so horrible.
jak
she’s been in worse spats than this. Don’t worry about Rosie.
Cam
What a typical idiot celeb. She says she doesn’t like the storyline, and then as SOON as somebody dissagrees with her she is out on Twitter going “I LOVE the Storyline!”. Ugh, she is about as genuine on this as her previous “Crush” on Tom Cruise was.
ForeverGay
Heterosexuals in the media purposefully distort what Rosie says to get views/ratings. They know a story about a gay person in trouble will bring out the haterosexuals who want an excuse to condemn gay people, quote Leviticus, say they are against gay couples marrying, against gay people raising children etc.
The actress handled this badly. She made it personal when it wasn’t. She should have said something like “Whether you believe the storyline or not it’s starting a conversation.”

@Cam: Coming from a tool who can’t even spell “disagrees”. You don’t know Rosie, and you don’t know the whole story. Judgmental asshole.
Soupy
I don’t understand the hatred. Is it anti-lesbian and anti-size?
RomanHans
Actually, it would have been nice if you’d explained what you’re talking about, so it’d make sense to the folks who don’t watch Glee.
Franco
As usual Queerty doesn’t do its research. Rosie cleared this up on the air yesterday after Access Hollywood deliberately took her statements out of context. There was never a feud.

Cam….you really need to get a life, or a boyfriend! Only nasty comments about everyone. BTW, Kris is still married:)
David
What Queerty doesn’t have the objectivity/professionalism to mention here is that Ashley gave the interview about Rosie to their nemesis, the Advocate!
