Saturday Night Live has announced that RuPaul will be its guest host on February 8. It will be the first time RuPaul has hosted the NBC show. The musical guest that night will be Justin Bieber, making his third SNL appearance. The Canadian singer recently released new track, ‘Yummy.’

RuPaul’s hosting gig comes following almost ten years of RuPaul’s Drag Race success and the recent debut of his new Netflix comedy-drama, AJ and the Queen.

The drag superstar has not commented on the hosting gig but retweeted a photo from the official SNL Twitter account confirming his name.

Although this will be RuPaul’s first time hosting the show, he did appear in a sketch way back in 1993 following the success of his single, ‘Supermodel.’

Other upcoming SNL hosts include Adam Driver on January 25, and football player JJ Watt on February 1. Watt, like RuPaul, is making his SNL hosting debut.
