Hell hath no fury like a drag queen scorned.
While RuPaul is generally an even-tempered hostess with the mostess onĀ Drag Race andĀ Drag Race All Stars, she has a rarely-seen wrath you do not want to be on the receiving end of.
One recent moment that comes to mind was after The Vixen walked off of the season 10 reunion show ā Ru. Went. Off.

Well, according to Ru himself and faithful gal Friday Michelle Visage, there was a moment during the hush-hushĀ All Stars season 4 filming that may take the cake in terms of uncomfortable outbursts.
The formidable duo laughed about it on their podcast,Ā Whatās The Tee with Michelle Visage, with Michelle revealing,Ā āIāve known Ru for 30 years. I just sat there and let her have her fun, screaming at the top of her lungs.ā
RuPaul, who said he was ājacked on javaā at the time, added: āThis is for All Stars, and everybody knows weāre doing All Stars, weāre not giving anything away. Let them guess what episode I go frigginā crazy on.ā
Michelle added that the cast were āshitting their pantsā over Ruās explosion.

āThey didnāt know what the fuck, they were like, āErmā, she said. āIāve known you like that before. Thatās like old Ru.ā

All Stars season four is set to arrive sometime in 2019, though an official premiere date has not been announced.
The cast also remains a secret up until now, though Reddit has some pretty strong cluesĀ for who to expect to seeĀ lip-synch for their legacies.

YAS KWEEN! BRING ME ALL THE DRAMMA!

Unless she is planning on screwing them all over and giving the crown to Shangela as a do-over for AS3, I’m not interested. š

I stopped watching RuPaul after the first season when she went off on a contestant at the reunion show. The queen just said she didn’t understand some of the judge’s comments and critique and RuPaul started yelling, using the ‘f’bomb nearly every other word. She cheapened herself and I don’t care if it is a reality show, you want respect, you give respect! Won’t watvh ever.

Miss Vanjie. Miss Vanjie. Miss Vanjie…

Drama, no drama, I love the show and am jonesing for a Rupaul fix daily.
LOGO, if you’re watching, a nice once-a-week airing of old episodes lasting until 2019 is in order.

Why isn’t Ru Paul’s Drag Race in High Definition?
Hoovernyc
Drag Queens in HD?? An HD camera would not be nearly as forgiving as those with which they currently film.

What’s so usual for a Diva to blow a basket when she she is tired and overworked. From my experience the boss needs a total f me bananas flip out to freak and put gear in the minions. Rock on Ru

I met RuPaul when she first moved to NYC and my friend, Nelson Sullivan, invited her to move into his place along with Lahoma and Larry Tee. I met her a couple times and we even watched Nelsonās āStarbootyā together. She was not the warm and fuzzy godmother of drag toward me that she has become. Nelson believed in her talent, but died before he coulf see her career take off.

I love gay history! (And sadly missed NY when it was fun.) Thanks for sharing that.

Ahhh pre-Giuliani NYC!!! Fun. Now heās also helping fuck the nation.

gkny10011 Reading between the lines I’m guessing Ru was an all out bitch to you. I’m not surprised. There have been many stories from the contestants of Drag Race that contradict the “warm and fuzzy godmother of drag” image Ru wants the public to see.

I dunno where she gets off telling people shes the Godmother of Drag. Does she not realize shes not the first drag queen and the boys from The Great Imposters deserve that title more than she does. They were far better performers than she could ever be. aka Rusty Ryan or Danny Love deserves that title just look on Utube for the vids from The Great Imposters back in the late 70s in Toronto
orfunnyhaha
I listened to the last two episodes of the podcast but can’t find the comments. Could anyone tell me which episode this is on?
Jaybyrd53
Never watched it not interested in it all. Am tired of Drag queens representing the Gay community. They are a small part of it. I used to watch the Great Imposters perform in Toronto back in the day and they would be shocked at the behaviour of some of these dragqueens. Drag It is an art form, treat it as such, you silly drags!

Never have watched any of the drag shit contests. Never will. Please put more “real gay persons” into tv shows as we gays are getting tired of being portrayed as something we are not.

The Michelle Ru podcast is way better than Drag Race lol.
