RuPaul excels in his role as hostess, coach and sometimes-therapist on Drag Race, often rolling through the workroom to play Mama to all the children. (Pearl has a story about that btw…)
But Drag Race is hardly Ru’s first time at the rodeo; he’s been turning looks and stunting pretty for longer than some of the contestants on his show have been alive.
This week he shared a throwback pic, taken in 1984 when Ru was just 24-years-old.
“Ordering a slice of ‘Sal’s Pizza’ at Ave A. & 7th st. NYC 1984,” he wrote in the caption.
