We’re so excited to announce that RuPaul has been nominated as ‘Best Reality Host’ for the 2014 Critics’ Choice Awards and RuPaul’s Drag Race has been nominated for the “Outstanding Achievement in Reality Programming” 2014 Television Critics Association Awards!
For the Critics’ Choice Awards, RuPaul is facing up against Tom Bergeron from Dancing With the Stars (ABC), Carson Daly from The Voice (NBC), Cat Deeley from So You Think You Can Dance (FOX), Gordon Ramsay from MasterChef (FOX) and Neil deGrasse Tyson and Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey (FOX/National Geographic Channel). RuPaul is the only Logo TV nominee on this list.
For the Television Critics Association (TCA) Awards, RuPaul’s Drag Race is facing up against The Amazing Race (CBS), Shark Tank (ABC – 2013 winner), Survivor (CBS) and The Voice (NBC). RuPaul’s Drag Race is the only cable program and Logo TV nominee in the lineup this year.

The 4th annual Critics’ Choice Awards winners will be announced live on The CW from the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Thursday, June 19, 2014 (8:00pm ET/8:00pm PT) and the 30th annual TCA Awards winners will be announce on July 19th in Los Angeles at a ceremony held during the TCA’s bi-annual conference.
