Russell Tovey is apparently back with Steve Brockman, the hunky British rugby player, fitness coach and former gay adult video performer who he was briefly engaged to back in 2018. At least, that’s what people are saying after seeing an Instagram shot of Tovey laying shirtless in bed with Brockman tagged as the photographer in the caption.

The image in question showed Tovey laying belly-down in a bed crowded with three dogs. Its caption simply said, “Sunday,” and tagged Brockman alongside a camera icon. In the comments, Brockman wrote, “My world,” using a globe emoji to signify “world.”
In February 2018, Tovey confirmed their engagement, stating, “Completely unexpected but very very happy and looking forward to having a proper party to celebrate when back in London.” They’d been dating for a while but had only gotten serious the summer before.
Brockman is a former Kings Cross Steelers rugby player, a London based team that became the first ever gay-inclusive rugby union club back in 1995. He’s also a former performer for the gay adult studio Randy Blue where he performed in four scenes under the name Ryan Stack: a solo video, an oral scene with porn performer Trent Davis, and two scenes where he topped a bearded bottom named Patrick Dunne and a versatile dude named Andrew Stark.
It’s unclear whether the couple are merely “friends” that take shirtless naps together, actually dating or re-engaged. Tovey is nowhere to be found on Brockman’s Instagram, but perhaps they’re just keeping their relationship low-key so it can progress without the stress of media attention.
Either way, Tovey has said that he’s interested in kids and as far as his sex life goes, he has called it “very, very, very vanilla,” so don’t let your imagination run too far away with you, even though both guys are pretty hunky.

I first saw Tovey acting as a teenager in THE HISTORY BOYS, a brilliant movie; and fell in love with him then. And i think he’s been brilliant in all the TV and movies that have followed. Also in THE HISTORY BOYS was a chubby wanker, James Cordon; who was also brilliant. In fact several of the boys in the movie have gone on to greater fame. Dominic Cooper for one.
