Just in Time For San Francisco Pride: Sheena Rose, 'Dirty Ca$h'

Sheena Rose Dirty Cash

A smoky mix of Anna Nicole Smith and Divine, Sheena Rose, a San Francisco drag queen entertainer and chart topping dance recording artist, recently dropped her newest dance track “Dirty Cash”, a hot new take on the 90’s club hit by dance group Stevie V. The LFB single track edit dropped May 27th on iTunes and Amazon – just in time for San Francisco Pride!

“Dirty Cash” – The Remixes, an epic collection of club mixes by some of the hottest DJs and remix producers, including Jared Jones, Wayne Numan, William Umana, Subgroover, Joe Gillan, Naked Highway and many more will be out in October. It will also feature vocals by Miami based Puerto Rican house vocalist and DJ VButterfly La Mariposa , who was featured on Sheena’s 2013 club hit “Queen of Clubs” (Breakout Song of the Week at Starfleet Music Pool, the top record pool that Billboard charting DJs report to).

Sheena will also be releasing a special one off single June 24th, a dance cover of “I Am What I Am”, dedicated to and in celebration of Trans March and the trans community. Sheena will also be performing her two new tracks along with a medley of her dance hits at this year’s Trans March. Both of these new singles are produced by Billboard acclaimed record producer Leo Frappier (LFB), who produced Sheena’s #1 dance hit “Make Me Over” (#1 Kings of Spins, one of the other top record pools).

Big, bold, and beautiful (and busty) – a glamorous deluxe diva, songstress & songwriter, Sheena Rose was first introduced to the underground San Francisco drag/club scene in the summer of 2006. Sheena now performs weekly at drag shows Hot Boxxx Girls and Dream Queens Revue at Aunt Charlie’s Lounge, two of the longest running drag shows in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Not content on being just another lip-syncing drag artist, Sheena Rose was introduced to the Dance Pop music scene in 2012 by Billboard charting DJ/producer William Umana with their underground club favorite “Time (Clock of the Heart)”. Among industry powerhouses who took notice of Sheena’s talent and potential was Billboard-acclaimed dance music producer Leo Frappier and remix producer/DJ Michael Cerchiai (MJC) and their 2013 dance hit “Make Me Over” quickly followed.

Having the wonderful opportunity of working with some pretty big names in the dance world, like LFB, Subgroover, Nina Flowers, Doctorz MD, Klubjumpers, Sheena Rose’s tracks are being played and mixed by some of the hottest DJs and remix producers around the world and played in some of the biggest clubs around the world as well.

Watch for for Sheena’s upcoming dance single “Dirty Cash”, which will be released June 24th on iTunes and Amazon, as well as the “Dirty Cash” remix album in the fall. With many more collaborations in the works, Sheena Rose shows no intentions of dropping the disco ball any time soon.
