Though Will Truman and Karen Walker have noticeably absent, Grace Adler and Jack McFarland will reunite on NBC when Sean Hayes makes a guest starring turn on former castmate Debra Messing’s musical drama, Smash.
According to a press release from NBC, Hayes will play “Terrence Falls, a comedic television and film star who is making his Broadway debut in the musical Liaisons, based on the novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses. Due to a series of comic circumstances, he becomes a major thorn in the side for Ivy Lynn (Megan Hilty) and other characters.”
Hayes tweeted about his newest gig yesterday:
Smash will return to the airwaves for its second season in January, at which point we’ll hopefully be treated to this from Messing and Hayes:
I loved Elizabeth on Will and Grace, especially the twirling with Jack part and when Jack’s boss tells him “Go call your girlfriend straighty!” Very funny!
