Those Falwells sure do love their pool boys.
Following Jerry Falwell Jr.’s fall from grace over one former pool boy’s less-than-Christian relationship with Jerry’s wife, Becki (while Jerry reportedly watched), another former pool boy has spoken out against him.
Gordon Bello claims to have had a “personal relationship” with Becki Falwell and took the couple to court last year over his stake in the Falwell’s queer-friendly Miami hostel run by the first poolboy, Giancarlo Granda.

Granda and Bello are high school friends who were both working at the Fontainebleau Hotel pool, where they met the Falwells while the couple vacationed in 2012.
Granda made headlines again this week after it was confirmed that he had a six-year affair with Becki, and now Bello is saying there’s even more to the story.
“Giancarlo is not telling the full truth of what happened, I hope he finds the courage to do so,” Bello told the Daily Mail.

The Falwell’s quietly settled their lawsuit with Bello in 2019 for an undisclosed sum.
Despite everything, Becki tells the AP that she and Jerry are “more in love than ever.”
“We have the strongest relationship,” she insists, “and Jerry is the most forgiving person I’ve ever met.”

OK I am totally NOT into kink-shaming, and I generally think that what two or three or seven or whatever people do in the privacy of their relationship is their own business, but this is about rank, shameless hypocrisy: to be shaming others for their relationships, to be touting strict biblical marriage and “family values” while at the same time engaging in cuckplay and its close friend adultery, is eminently shameable. And here, the wife says her husband is “the most forgiving person I’ve ever met”?? WTF does he have to “forgive” when he was actively participating in the fun, jerking off in the corner? These people just rattle my last nerve.

It will be interesting to watch this played-forward. I imagine that they are now pariahs among their own bible-thumping crowd. And they were certainly never friends to those who advocate for a more liberal approach to sexual matters. Might be best to just change their name, move to a foreign country and start over.

If you go to the Daily Mail article you’ll see Benjamin Crosswhite, a big, blond muscular White guy who also allegedly seems to have been paid off by the Falwells, so clearly they were up to all kinds of things they would have condemned anyone else to hell (except other right-wing Christianist leader friends and Don the Con) for engaging in.
As Cam says, Bello is suggesting that there’s another explosive shoe to drop involving Falwell, if Granda will just untie the laces, so I hope he does. I also bet they were f*cking, which is probably why Granda made the explicit claim that he had a relationship with both of them and made sure not to hold back on Falwell Jr.’s cuckplay activity.
