2018 felt like the year of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Not only did All-Stars season 3 rock the fandom with upsets and intrigue, season 10 reached a wider audience than ever before, solidifying the show in mainstream pop culture.
Well, buckle up: season 11 and All-Stars 4 are coming like a locomotive and all the gaggery will soon be upon us again.
While there are still no official release dates for the seasons, we know they’ve already been green-lit by VH1.

How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
What’s more, sources say both seasons are being shot this summer. It’s believed season 11 of Drag Race will be out in early 2019, and All-Stars 4 shortly thereafter.
And speaking of All-Stars 4…
By digging into the details of former contestants’ booking dates (these queens get booke a lot so a sudden gap in the middle of summer is pretty compelling evidence) and social media radio silence, internet sleuths think they know the competing queens.
So without further ado, your maybe probably cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 4:
S3/AS1: Manila Luzon
No gigs. Active social media posts, but not unbelievable that her husband is taking control. Canceled gig on the 27th.
S4/AS1: Latrice Royale
No gigs. No social media activity.
S6: Gia Gunn
No gigs. No social media activity. Didn’t post about the finale of The Switch S2.
S7: Jasmine Masters
No gigs. No public social media activity. Canceled gigs in Australia.
S8: Naomi Smalls
No gigs. No social media activity. Canceled gig on the 27th.
S9: Farrah Moan

S9: Valentina

S9: Trinity Taylor
No gigs. No social media activity.
S10: Monique Heart

S10: Monét X Change
Didn’t show up to gigs during filming. Canceled UK gigs. No social media inactivity.

Whoever the cast is, Ru better get rid of that “queens eliminate other queens” rule on All Stars and go back to the judges deciding, because that’s been a disaster. Last season actually was “RuPaul’s Best Friends Race” because it didn’t matter what you’d actually done during the season, it just mattered who your friends were. I don’t want to watch another season that’s such a bore and so full of BS as that last All Stars season was.
BearCityGreg
Yeah, that rule has GOT to Sashy the fu– Away! Shangela’s loss was sooooooo unreal. Love Trixie, but that was Shangela’s win.
DarkZephyr
NOT If it means bringing back the mess of teams from Season 1. I would rather have the queens eliminate the queens.
geb1966
None of the All Stars seasons have had a fair way of eliminating. Season 1’s teams tactic was a miserable failure. Poor Pandora got paired with the weakest link and got eliminated through no fault of her own. Season 2, it was obvious from the beginning that Alaska was being groomed to win, so it didn’t matter how well anyone did in the challenges. And that horse shit in season 3 where the eliminated queens got to pick who won was utter ridiculousness. And I LOVE Trixie and was very happy for her, but anyone with eyes could see that Shangy should have won after Ben eliminated herself. And how the fuck did Bebe even make top 4?

Shangela was the winner of AS3.
I agree with all comments.
Craig
With all the All Stars seasons I have felt like the show knows who they want to win before show begins they just have to figure out how to get it there. Having the queens eliminate other queens makes it easier because eliminations don’t have to make sense. It was even more obvious this is what’s going on when they brought back the queens to pick the top two and make Trixie have an easier win. Season 2 was obvious too when they cast Alaska with two of her close friends as well as a big chunk of her season to make sure she’d make it to the top. It’s all a game, it isn’t real. Or at least it comes off that way.
DarkZephyr
@Craig hmmm. I suppose it kind of does come off that way. But I also think there have been some curve balls that shocked even Ru herself. Like in Season 2’s elimination of Alyssa Edwards and Season 3’s self elimination of Bendala Creme (who up til then I had been rooting for to win).
QueerTruth
SPOILER. (Well a possible one…) The rumor is the show will have eliminations in both formats. The first half the queens send each other home with a lip-sync for your legacy. The second half, the judges decide with lip-sync for your life in place.
Who knows. Just a rumor I read…
I just hope the winner is not a white man in a blonde wig (for the fourth time.)
DarkZephyr
Can you be on more than one season of All Stars? Latrice Royale and Manila Luzon were on Season 1.
DCguy
In fairness, they were eliminated way too early with that ridiculous team system. So I don’t have a problem with any of the people who didn’t make top 4 coming back. (Just my 2 cents)
QueerTruth
Yes. This list is pretty much confirmed.
Annaronimo
Of course. After all, Bebe won season 1 and got to come back on All Stars, and Shangela did more than one season plus All Stars, and they haven’t ruled out an All Stars of winners. Anything can happen. The rules aren’t set in stone. Besides, AS1 didn’t have the same reach as subsequent seasons.
alanballs
If that’s the cast of AS4, then it’s going to be a herstory-making season….all of those queens are A M A I N G.
alanballs
A M A Z I N G……LOL
DarkZephyr
lol Don’t you wish Queerty’s comment section had an edit feature?

I. CAN’T. WAIT.

For what I’ve read, this cast is almost confirmed, they actually should be filming episode six by now. And I totally agree with all of you, I really hope that this season takes more in consideration hard working and delivering good performances than cliques and twists made by the show’s producers. Please, let the girls shine by themselves and play a fair game this time; I know that this is reality tv, but the fan base is huge, and a lot of that fans are kids and teenagers, prove to them that hard work and passion is worth for something in this life!
DCguy
I LOVE the idea of bringing back Manilla and Latrice, they got bounced WAAAAAY too early from All Stars 1 because of that stupid teams set up.
I think this sounds like a really good cast, should be fun to watch. But shake it up a bit. I’m getting really bored with the clicks making the call. I wasn’t even a fan of Shangella, didn’t really like her on Season 3, and was ambivalent about her on all stars when the competition seemed fair. But she was obviously the head of the pack after Bendela left, not putting her through was ridiculous and Ru honestly should have stepped in right there.
BigJune
Stop with the leaks already!
AS3 & last season of RPDR was spoiled – I knew who was going or in trouble as I watched each week.
I will not be reading, I hope there are more with my feelings.
It is a great show – the highlight of the year as television programs go.
Let us enjoy it. Nothing worse than some know it all qween spilling Tea when you don’t want to hear them.
The fans love to know what is going on, we have Dragula soon & we can always catch re-runs of past series.
Sorry to moan, but someone has to!
Regards.

You are a big idiot. Don’t click on a link with spoilers.
rikard_pearson
i love these queens, with the exception of Gia Gunn whom i’m only luke warm for. i love the format for All Stars. it is important that it is different from the regular season. sending other queens home makes the process more strategic. All Stars really puts these queens in a hall of fame because it shows how great they have become since their season.
