Halloween is just around the corner! Are you ready to throw on that skimpy costume and hit the streets? No? Then what are you waiting for? Those pecs aren’t going to bulge themselves. (Heh heh. We said bulge.)
This week, the Phoenix Effect takes you through five challenging exercises that will pump you up and get you hot for Halloween!
Starting this week, let’s up your reps. 5 sets of 15 should do the trick. You’re welcome, America. Now, get to work!
Dumbbell Incline Row
Cross Over Step Up
Dive Bomber Push-up
The Dead Bug
Learn how to achieve that body below.
If you’re not hot on the 19th, no amount of exercise will get you there by the 31st…
Thank you for this. I’m a skinny guy who hates working out, so I’m always looking for ways to make my workout for pleasant and less repetitive, and for efficient exercises that activate multiple muscle groups. I hadn’t seen the wolverine before, and will try it. I figured out the dumbbell incline row on my own, but you added a nice twist to it. I hope you do more glute exercises. I find my glutes really hard to activate in any meaningful way. My quads always take over. Also, most good glute and leg exercises tend to be torture (squats, lunges, etc.), so it would be nice to find something that was not unpleasant to do.
@hyhybt: I was thinking the same thing at first, but the video is for week three, and it was posted almost a week ago.
(Oops… “more pleasant” not “for pleasant”)
Thanks to post this I’ll try . BTW, if someone is interested to know I’m tottaly in shape and never will allow myself to go on.
Exactly!! So If your not fit already just grab a moo moo and go as a housewife.
I prefer the other, girl-ier guy in the first two videos.
@Cobalt Blue: No one cares…
@Merv, for glutes, google “pull-throughs.” There is a video by Tony Gentilcore somewhere illustrating the right way to do them.
