This is another example of people trying to make a big god damned deal about nothing. He’s a straight guy who is friends with LGBT people and comfortable with his sexuality. Nothing he’s done is evidence against him being straight. He was photographed nude at a gay beach. But he was there with two fully nude women. He kissed a trans woman. But, again, she’s a woman. Sometimes the LGBT community can be really hypocritical.
If a male actor doesn’t discuss his sexuality, he’s “a closet case” with “internalized homophobia”. If a male actor DOES discuss his sexuality but is heterosexual, he’s “protesting too much” and clearly a “closet case”.
Whatever happened to the old adage, live and let live. We have no more of a right to question his sexual identity than someone else does to question ours. If he were a vocal homophobe doing damage to our community, it would be a different story. But everything I’ve seen about him has demonstrated that he’s an ally. So why give him grief? It just doesn’t make sense.

I saw him being comfortable and friendly with a trans woman in the video. Very little context provided and it could have been a friend. I didn’t see any evidence to indicate his sexuality. I wonder when demanding acceptance and respect about a persons sexuality will stop being a one way street in our community. It’s ok to label any man to be gay, but when he says he isn’t it is some kind of affront to certain queens. Whatever.

Totally agree with Paco and PRINCE. We can say we’re gay and proud whenever we want and for no real reason at all, but a straight guy can’t even just say he’s heterosexual to clear up a misunderstanding? Even if his post was meant to be hostile (which isn’t the vibe I got from his message), people speculating and claiming you’re something you know you aren’t is rather aggravating.
