If I was living 200 years ago in a coal mine, maybe, but I work in possibly the gayest industry in the world! Music and TV!It would make no difference to my life or my career. A lot of my friends are gay, but I’m not and don’t even think that way any more…I couldn’t care less (if people think I’m gay) because it’s nothing to be ashamed of. It feels like such an antiquated question now.”

I use to get offended when people accused me of being straight, I don’t care anymore.

Lolol… good comment, Dionte! Times have really changed for the good; gays don’t mind either and the only people (like social conservatives) whom it seems to bother have no power or control over anybody but their small monotone choir now. Silliness on their part!

@Dakotahgeo: There is a HUGE difference between stating in a poll that you support gay marriage and actually voting based on your feelings regarding gay marriage. If you think that the religious right is knocked out for the count then you need to be very vigilant to keep them way.

@tdx3fan: Exactly!!! Enemies such as NOM, NRA, et al, never sleep! Vigilance is our friend!

Of course it’s easy to say being gay doesn’t make a different when you are STRAIGHT. Simon would have had a difficult time getting to his position had he been openly gay. ‘Nuf said.
