The world has clearly gone to hell since the 70s. Watch some sports videos from 40 years ago and male athletes who wore shorts, wore shorts that fit. Now they wear culottes. When did men start being so embarrassed by our own bodies?

I know I was thinking the same thing. From what I understand, the Speedos of the 70s and 80s turned off a lot of straight women because they didn’t want to see a man’s body flaunted like that. In addition, many straight men believe anything that flaunts their ‘lower half’ as opposed to their ‘upper half’ is assumed to be gay. Why do you think so many American men ridicule European men and their swimsuits? I agree it’s a pity but gay people only comprise a small segment of a mainly straight population. Ah well.

Eh… I mean, when you see all of the Tumblrs dedicated to the male athletes, you rarely see the basketball players on there because of their loose uniforms, but they have some of the best bodies you will ever see. Give me Lebron James, Jeremy Lin, Chandler Parsons, and Blake Griffin ANY day of the week… throw James Harden in there for a nightcap

A lot of straight women don’t seem to like men’s bodies very much. They like qualities like being tall or having broad shoulders that elevate social status. Ask a straight man what he likes to do to a woman and he’ll chew your ear off with the anatomical bits and pieces that he wants to suck on. Ask a straight woman if she likes sucking on a nut sac or licking under a foreskin and you’re likely to get a horrified grimace. Obviously not universal, but…..

@Guy068: I’ve always gone 1925. When i was bigger i was ashamed of my man boobs, but even after losing 70lbs and working on my chest, i still didn’t feel that comfortable, i like having a tank top on. I do like short shorts tough. Good legs can sometimes be a hotter turn on than an exposed chest.
