The fishiest song of the summer has finally arrived. “So C#nt” is the latest jam from drag divas Levonia Jenkins and La Lopez. The duo rightfully reclaims the word “cunt” and brings it back to the word of fishy realness by turning into in a fierce drag anthem that beats out anything those girls from RuPaul’s Drag Race have ever done. Of course, the word is one the country’s last taboos (lest we forget the time that The Onion called Quvenzhané Wallis a cunt earlier this year). But this isn’t that kind of song. (Though the Suri Cruise interlude is a veiled reference, if I ever heard one.) No this one is about being the Queen B. And all hunty aside, the song packs some decent twerking beats. So if nothing else, let this one serve as your runway music the next time you strut down the subway platform.
