Today, as the nation chokes down copious aspirin and wipes the remaining fake blood off their faces, we’re left with many questions. The most important among them: what in the name of God is going on with Gerald Butler’s Halloween costume? Please help by taking a look HERE and telling us what you see and feel.

The actor attended a Halloween party in Los Angeles decked out in a cape featuring the words “Gay Me Of Thrones,” and nobody quite knows why.
According to Pink News, Butler spent most of the night parading around in his underwear — perhaps because he realized his costume was in poor taste and just sort-of, like, really bizarre.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
I was worried Gerard Butler accidentally took a workplace sensitivity course but fear not, there's the gay joke we've been waiting for!

It somehow literally makes zero sense. At least if he got rid of the space between “gay” and “me,” there’d be a bad pun there. @BrianTooFab

If you have to put an explanatory sign on your costume, it is not a good costume.
Low Country Boy
O . . . kay. How about spelling his name correctly. It “Gerard,” not “Gerald.” Does no one proof these articles before they are posted?
Captain Obvious
Sounds like some of you are just trying to figure out how to get offended by it and since you can’t you’re just calling him stupid. Get bent.
Themaaster1
or maybe the costume is his way of coming out “Gay me”

It’s probably just a poorly thought out costume fail. Don’t read to much into it.
Daniel-Reader
Maybe as a bi guy he thinks he has a gay side (a “Gay Me”) and a straight side (a “Straight Me”)?

Meanwhile whoever is in charge of proof reading at Queerty needs to be sacked. There are so many typos and spelling errors in their articles it’s beyond funny.

@Low Country Boy:
In a word, No.
No, these articles are not proofed by any standard.
Type-and-post, that’s the Queerty M.O., integrity be damned.
Violent Rainbow
What a stupid lazy costume idea. He doesn’t even look like anyone from GOT, he looks more like a Pirates of the Caribbean character.
